Concrete in Northern Illinois has to survive salt, freeze-thaw and a lot of weight. We pour driveways, sidewalks, patios, aprons and pads, and we finish them broomed, stamped, exposed or colored depending on what the space calls for.
The three things that decide whether a slab lasts are base, thickness and control joints. We compact a proper base, pour to the right thickness for the load, reinforce where it matters, and cut control joints on a schedule so the slab cracks where we tell it to instead of across the middle.

Estimate and layout
We measure, discuss thickness and finish, check where water needs to go, and put an honest number in writing.

Excavation and base
We excavate, install and compact granular base, and set forms to the grades that drain the slab correctly.
- 03
Reinforcement
Rebar or mesh goes in where the load calls for it, held up off the base so it sits in the slab and not under it.

Pour and finish
We place, screed, float and finish to the specified texture — broom, stamp, exposed aggregate or a smooth decorative finish.

Joints, cure and seal
Control joints get cut on schedule, the slab cures, and decorative work gets sealed. We give you clear guidance on first-winter salt use.
