Standing water in the yard, a soggy strip along the foundation, or a low corner that never dries out are all solvable, and solving them is almost always cheaper than the damage they cause. We install French drains, catch basins, dry wells and buried downspout extensions, and we regrade where the fix is simply moving dirt.
The first thing we do is figure out where the water is actually coming from — roof runoff, a neighbor's grade, or a hardpan layer holding it up. Installing a drain in the wrong place moves the puddle rather than removing it.

Find the source
We trace the water: roof and downspout volume, surface flow from uphill, sump discharge, and how the soil drains. Ideally we see it during or after a real rain.

Pick the right fix
Sometimes it is a regrade, sometimes a French drain, sometimes just getting downspouts twenty feet from the foundation. We recommend the smallest thing that works.

Install
Trenches get dug to a consistent fall, perforated pipe is bedded in clean washed stone, wrapped in filter fabric, and tied to catch basins or pop-up emitters.

Manage the outlet
We make sure the discharge point actually drains away and does not just relocate the problem to your property line or a neighbor's yard.

Restore the surface
Trenches get backfilled and compacted, and the lawn or beds above are restored with sod or seed and straw.
