Concrete Patios

A clean, continuous surface with no joints to maintain.

Overview

Explore our Concrete Patios work

A poured patio gives you one continuous surface — nothing to weed, nothing to re-sand, and furniture that sits dead level. It is usually the lower-cost option per square foot than pavers, and with a stamped or saw-cut finish it does not have to look plain.

The honest trade-off is repairability. A paver patio can be lifted and reset; a slab that cracks badly gets cut out and replaced. That is why we are careful about base prep, thickness and joint layout on patios specifically, and why we will point you toward pavers when your soil or drainage argues for them.

How it works

Our Concrete Patios process

No mystery, no surprises — here's exactly how a job runs from the first call to the final walkthrough.

  1. 01

    Size and place the patio

We lay out the footprint on the ground and check it against your furniture, grill and door swing before forming anything.

  2. 02

    Excavation and base

We excavate, compact granular base and set forms with a slope that carries water away from the house.

  3. 03

    Reinforcement

Mesh or rebar goes in on chairs so it sits within the slab and actually does its job.

  4. 04

    Pour and finish

We place, screed and float, then apply the finish you chose — broom, stamped, exposed or saw-cut.

  5. 05

    Joints, cure and cleanup

Control joints get cut on schedule and laid out to look intentional, the slab cures, and we restore and seed the edges.
