Two cleanups a year keep a property from slowly getting away from you. In spring we clear the winter debris, cut back perennials and ornamental grasses, re-cut the edges and refresh the mulch so the beds start the season clean. In fall we clear leaves out of the beds and off the lawn, cut back what should be cut back, and leave what benefits from staying up over winter.
It is unglamorous work and it is the difference between beds that look intentional in May and beds you are embarrassed by. We haul everything off — nothing gets piled at the back of the lot.

No mystery, no surprises — here's exactly how a job runs from the first call to the final walkthrough.

Walk and plan
We go around the property and agree on scope: which beds, which cutbacks, leaves, gutters-adjacent areas, and anything you want left alone.
- 02
Cut back and clear
Perennials and grasses get cut to the right height, dead material comes out, and beds get cleared to bare mulch or soil.
- 03
Leaves and lawn
Leaves come out of the beds and off the turf so the lawn isn't smothered going into or coming out of winter.
- 04
Edge and refresh
Edges get re-cut and, in spring, we can top-dress the beds with fresh mulch in the same visit.
- 05
Blow down and haul away
Hard surfaces get blown clean and every bit of debris leaves the property with us.
