Stamped Concrete
The look of stone or brick in a single monolithic slab.
Explore our Stamped Concrete work
Stamped concrete gives you the pattern and texture of cut stone, slate or brick in a continuous slab with no joints to weed. We pour stamped patios, walks and drives with integral color in the mix, a release color for depth, and a stamped border that frames the field the way a soldier course frames pavers.
It is a timing-sensitive finish. The stamp has to go on in a fairly narrow window while the slab is at the right stage, which means having enough people and enough mats on site to work the whole pour at once. That is a scheduling problem, and it is the main reason stamped work goes wrong when it goes wrong.

No mystery, no surprises — here's exactly how a job runs from the first call to the final walkthrough.
- 01
Pattern and color selection
We go through pattern mats and color combinations with you, and look at samples against your house and existing hardscape.
- 02
Base, forms and reinforcement
Compacted base, forms set to drain, and reinforcement placed and chaired — same structural discipline as any other slab.
- 03
Pour and color
Concrete is placed with integral color already in the mix, then screeded and floated flat.
- 04
Stamping
Release color goes down and the mats go on in sequence during the window when the slab is ready. Borders get stamped to frame the field.
- 05
Joints, wash and seal
Control joints get cut into the pattern lines where possible, the surface is washed to reveal the release color, and we seal it.
